Project Description:

The Diabetes Educator Course 2 is aimed at expanding diabetes care and education to 20 islands currently without trained educators, including Malé.

Building on the success of previous initiatives, the project will deliver specialized training on diabetes management, patient education, and technological advancements tailored to the Maldivian context. The project will improve self-management for individuals with diabetes, enhance peer support networks, and integrate diabetes education into routine healthcare services, while fostering mentorship and stakeholder collaboration.
