Project Description:

“Guiding Generations” is a program aimed at strengthening connections between youth and elderly citizens across the Maldives.

Running from October 2025 to October 2026, the program will enhance community well-being by addressing elderly care, active aging, mental health, and digital literacy for senior citizens.

Through training, seed funding, and mentorship, young guides will lead community initiatives such as home visits, tech literacy sessions, storytelling, and activity clubs, promoting intergenerational solidarity. The program will culminate in a national Generations Festival, serving as a model for youth leadership, sustainable community service, and improved quality of life for older adults.
