Project Description:

“Project Haven" is a year-long initiative integrating mental health awareness with Maldivian cultural practices to address issues like eco-anxiety and identity, focusing on Noonu Atoll and nationwide virtual activities.

The project will provide virtual mental health support, creative therapy, intergenerational knowledge exchanges, and community engagement on environmental issues, while also advocating for the inclusion of nature-based well-being in local policies. Targeting youth and involving elders, Project Haven promotes a community-led, sustainable approach by collaborating with mental health professionals, local governments, and NGOs.
