Pension Office conducted a session of the Career Compass Program for the Grade 11 students of Hanimaadhoo School, as part of its ongoing efforts to equip young people with practical knowledge and skills to prepare for their future careers and transition into the workforce.

The session brought together students and focused on career planning, CV writing and interview preparation, providing practical guidance to help students explore career opportunities and prepare for employment.

During the session, students were introduced to different aspects of career development, including identifying potential career pathways, preparing an effective CV, approaching job applications and developing the skills needed to perform confidently in interviews. The programme aimed to help students better make informed decisions about their future career paths, as they prepare for life after school.

The session also briefly introduced students to the basics of retirement planning, highlighting the importance of developing healthy financial habits and understanding the role of early financial planning in achieving long-term financial security.

The Career Compass Program forms part of Pension Office's broader public awareness and education efforts to engage young people before they enter the workforce.
