The Maldives Pension Administration Office (Pension Office) has received International Social Security Association (ISSA)’s recognition for Good Governance and Service Quality.

With 320 members across 160 countries, ISSA promotes knowledge-sharing, develops professional standards, and supports global advocacy for comprehensive social security systems.
The ISSA Recognition programme supports social security institutions worldwide by advancing operational excellence and global best practices. The recognition for Good Governance reflects Pension Office’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and strong institutional practices, while the recognition for Service Quality highlights its focus on efficient, reliable services that strengthen public confidence and deliver better social security solutions.
The certificates of excellence for the recognitions were presented at the World Social Security Forum taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 29th September - 3rd October 2025.
By achieving these recognitions, Pension Office has demonstrated its ability to meet rigorous international standards, solidifying its position as a leader in social security administration.
