The Kulhudhuffushi Senior Citizens' Park, developed under a partnership between the Kulhudhuffushi City Council and Pension Office, was officially opened on 9 July 2026.

The park was officially opened by Mohamed Athif, Mayor of Kulhudhuffushi City, and Mariyam Shiuna, Chief Operating Officer, Pension Office.The opening was marked with a community event featuring health screenings, healthy food, entertainment activities, and opportunities for senior citizens to come together and celebrate the new space.

The park provides a dedicated recreational space for senior citizens to relax, socialize, and engage in outdoor activities, contributing to their well-being and quality of life. The initiative reflects the shared commitment of the Kulhudhuffushi City Council and the Pension Office towards supporting healthier, more inclusive communities and promoting the well-being of older persons.
