Maldives Pension Administration Office (Pension Office) is pleased to announce the CSR Grant Program for 2026, a financial support initiative designed to empower community driven projects that align with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy. This program aims to foster sustainable development by funding innovative, small-scale projects that address critical societal needs in the Maldives.

Program Overview 

  • Objective: To support local organizations in implementing impactful projects that enhance social well-being, environmental sustainability, economic resilience, and community empowerment.

  • Funding Ceiling: Up to MVR 200,000 per project.

  • Project Duration: Maximum 12 months.

  • Eligible Entities: Registered local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and academic institutions (refer to the website page for further details).

“Empowering Communities for a Resilient Future”

Thematic Area 1: Financial Literacy

  • Financial literacy for vulnerable groups and underserved communities

  • Digital financial literacy, access, and infrastructure 

  • Financial and early retirement planning for youth and students 

  • Financial management for small businesses and informal sector workers 

  • Research on financial literacy and inclusion

Thematic Area 2: Enhancing Well-being and Quality of Life

  • Elderly care programs and active aging 

  • Mental health and psychosocial well-being

  • Care therapy and rehabilitation 

  • Disability inclusion and accessibility

  • Caregiver and family support programs

Application Details

Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 16:00 hrs on 23 July 2026.

How to Apply: Complete and submit the application form provided, along with the required supporting documents (refer to the website page for further details).  

Selection Process: Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • Organizational capacity (20%)

  • Soundness of Project Design (35%)

  • Potential impact (30%)

  • Budget appropriateness (15%)

Applicants will be notified of the evaluation results.
